Bromsgrove Blaze under 16s played Kings
at Worcester on Thursday.
This was the first time Blaze had played
together as a team under coach
Jon Miller.
The first quarter was close with Blaze
leading by a single basket.
During the second quarter Blaze opened
up a lead of 5 points, playing sound man to man defence, stealing the ball effectively and executing the fast break.
Kings fought back during the third quarter
to trail by just 2 points.
Blaze played solid defence during the final
quarter to win the game by 26pts to 24.
This was an encouraging performance by
this newly formed, young, up and coming side.
